The story of Go Outside.com (GOS) kicked off at 10:12 AM on May 2nd, 2026, while Saevin was watching John Chungus. The idea was to turn the "touching grass" meme into a massive, city-wide competitive social experiment. He spent the rest of day planning out the idea and building a basic Canva site. Later that night, he pitched the idea to creator, Tang Fish. He immediately locked in as co-founder to handle the backend web construction, and by 10:02 PM—just 32 minutes later—he had already built and launched the official community Discord server. Over the next month, the project had rapidly evolved into a full-on lifestyle movement. In just four weeks, the web platform went live, the Discord grew, and physical poster campaigns hit local parks. June shifted the focus into a heavy content and outreach grind. Weeks were spent cold-DM’ing public figures—from John Chungus and Greta Thunberg to an attempt at Leonardo DiCaprio—to help promote the movement. Now, as of July 1st, the framework is solid and the community is growing.
